BSW Group enters joint venture with Power Sheds
BSW Group has entered a joint venture with Power Sheds, a major disruptor in the sector since launching in 2019, and with a turnover in excess of £15m.
Pupils at Deshar Primary will be sporting a new football kit at this year’s matches, thanks to £250 worth of sponsorship from BSW Timber which operates its Boat of Garten sawmill just 1.5 miles away.
All members of the P3-P7 team will be kitted out in the new gear, which features the timber company’s logo. The team’s old training kit will be donated to a charity project in Nairobi, with the help of the school’s Parent Council and the local Rotary Club.
Charlie Speedy at Deshar Primary School said: “We have a team of girls and boys from P3 to P7 who are eager to play in the local schools tournament and many other sporting activities, and the team will be unmistakable in their fantastic new kits. We would like to thank BSW for the generous donation, and both the Parent Council and Rotary Club for ensuring that our previous kits will continue to be well used in Nairobi.”
David Mills, Mill Manager at BSW Timber said: “The Deshar team really look the part in their new kits. BSW Timber is committed to supporting the local community at Boat of Garten as well as communities further afield, and is pleased to encourage young people to become involved in sporting activities in this way.”
