Preservative Treatment
BSW treat timber products such as construction, fencing, landscaping sleepers and decking to enhance durability and lifespan.
When exposed to certain conditions, in particular when the moisture content is allowed to rise above 24%, timber is susceptible to attack from fungi and insects. The service life of properly treated timber is 5 to 10 times longer than untreated wood.

There are two types of treatment that BSW use:
High Pressure Treatment suitable for Use Class 3 and 4 and available in both green and brown colours.
Low Pressure Treatment suitable for Use Class 2 and 3 and available in a golden yellow colour.
