BSW makes school play area safe
July 2, 2008

Glenzier Primary School in Dumfries & Galloway has benefited from a revitalised play area thanks to local company BSW Timber’s donation of bark to resurface the space.
BSW Timber recently became aware that Glenzier Primary was being forced to spend their hard earned fundraising money on resurfacing their playground.
The company arranged to provide the material that was needed free of charge so that the fundraised money could be used elsewhere. The resurfacing has now been completed and has revamped the play area which was becoming dangerous.
Bryan Crennell of BSW Timber, said: "We were delighted that we were able to support such a worthwhile cause and help make the playground area safe once again. Glenzier Primary will now be able to spend the money that they have fundraised on educational resources rather than playground maintenance."
Jean Miller, Head teacher at Glenzier Primary School, added: "BSW Timber has donated plenty of mulched bark to make our playground area safe and the children and staff are delighted. We have a very limited budget and are extremely grateful to BSW Timber and other local companies for their continued support."
