Boat of Garten Sawmill
Boat of Garten is the most northerly sawmill in the Group. The 5 ha site is located in the picturesque Spey Valley 5 miles NE of Aviemore. The sawmill can process lengths from 3.0 - 4.8 metre lengths and operates on a single shift pattern. Annual input is 80,000 cubic metres of roundwood and it produces 50,000 cubic metres of sawn timber.
